(a.k.a. The Fine Print That’s Not Too Boring)
Welcome to my little corner of the web where sawdust meets design, and every project is made with heart, hands, and sometimes a few curse words when the grain doesn’t cooperate.
By placing an order, you're agreeing to the following terms. It's not scary — just common sense with a bit of wood glue.
🔨. 1. Handmade Means Human-Made
Every piece is crafted by hand. That means small variations in wood grain, engraving, finish, and size might happen. These quirks aren’t mistakes — they’re part of the charm. If you’re expecting laser-straight perfection from a factory robot, you’re in the wrong shop.
📐 2. Custom Orders
Custom = Final. If you request a personalized engraving, size, design, or special material, the piece is yours forever. No returns, exchanges, or swapsies — unless I made a serious mistake (hey, it happens, and I’ll fix it if I did).
📦 3. Shipping and Handling
I pack everything with care, but once it leaves my hands, I can’t control what the postal gremlins do. If your item arrives damaged, contact me ASAP with photos and I’ll do my best to make it right.
🧾 4. Payment Terms
All payments are due at the time of order, because I don’t carve on a promise. For custom orders, full payment is required before I break out the tools.
🕒 5. Turnaround Time
I’m a one-man (and sometimes Dad-powered) operation. That means orders may take a little time — especially during busy seasons. I’ll keep you posted, and I’ll never rush something that’s meant to last a lifetime. I also strive to be clear and upfront of when I can deliver and will likely under promise so that I can over deliver. ;)
🤝 6. Collaboration & Communication
I love working with customers on custom ideas — but good communication is key. If I reach out for clarification and don’t hear back in a reasonable time, I may have to put your project on pause. Help me help you.
📸 7. Product Photos & Bragging Rights
I may photograph and share completed pieces (minus any super-personal details) for my portfolio, website, or social media. If you're gifting something or need secrecy, just let me know and I’ll zip it.
🔒 8. Privacy Policy (a short one)
I won’t sell, trade, or rent your information. Period. I’m too busy carving to build a shady data empire.
