A Final Resting Place, Crafted With Love

This piece was crafted during one of the hardest moments in my life — the recent loss of my own dog, a beloved member of our family for many years.

Designing and building this pet casket wasn’t just about craftsmanship — it was about creating a dignified, peaceful resting place that honored all the love and loyalty my companion gave unconditionally.

Made from select pine, the casket features traditional joinery, with a soft, natural burnt wood finish. Every curve and corner was shaped with care — not just for appearance, but for meaning.

I’m sharing this project here not just as part of my portfolio, but as a reminder that woodworking can be deeply personal — and that sometimes the most important pieces we build are the ones we hope we never have to.
